I realize that most low carbers will generally just purchase diet soda and be done with it.

Around here though, I don’t much care for it simply because I can taste the chemicals in them. Especially in diet sodas.

So for those who are in the same boat I came up with a healthier, stevia 7Up recipe that I just cannot seem to get enough of.

It’s fantastically refreshing on a hot day and takes care of my thirst pretty quickly. Plus, it’s quick and easy to make!

I know, most people will think, “why make soda when I can just buy it?”

The truth is, there is more and more data and research coming out showing us just how bad soda is for us. The chemicals they put in soda is NOT healthy. Especially the diet sodas! And the amount of sugar in just 1 can of soda should send anybody running for the hills.

If you mission is true, vibrant health, then soda should be the first thing you cross off your list.

It’s all fine and good to eat low carb, but if you are using a bunch of chemicals to reach your desired weight, do you really think you are going to feel good when that day does finally arrive?

Yes, you’ll be “skinny”.

But how will you feel?

What will your energy levels be like?

Will you wake up in the morning bright eyed and bushy-tailed?

My guess would be no.

The body is 100% natural, so why do we continue to think that it will run on chemicals and still function well?

Trust me. Ditch the soda. You’ll be so much healthier for it! Besides… you’ve got this recipe to keep you going. You’re welcome. 🙂

Low Carb Stevia 7Up Recipe

This Low Carb 7Up Recipe is going to knock your socks off on how refreshing and delicious this drink is for the summer without all that added sugar and chemicals from diet sodas.

Ingredients

  • 1 large glass filled with ice
  • 1/4 tsp. pure liquid stevia, or to taste
  • 1/4 lime, juiced
  • lime flavored sparkling water

Instructions

  • Fill your glass with ice.Add the stevia.
  • Add the lime juice, and then slowly pour the seltzer water into the glass. Watch the foam!
  • Stir well and enjoy.
