I’m a margarita girl. If I drink, which isn’t often, 9 times out of 10 it will be a margarita. But now that I’m eating low carb, I don’t want to kill my eating plan with a high sugar margarita mix.
I did a clean eating version a while back on my other blog, so this time, I took the same recipe and converted it to a low carb recipe. It worked like a charm and I get to enjoy a delicious margarita for my birthday this year!
Some of you may be wondering about the water. I promise, you won’t water down your drink. Tequila mix is basically a lemonade. Without the water, you’d have a super strong lemon flavor (just lemon juice!!) that would be tough to take, even with tequila mixed in. I promise, your drink will taste just fine.
NOTE ON CARBS:
I figured the data with and without the erythritol, as you will see below. As far as I know, most low carb eaters do not count sugar alcohols, but the choice is yours. I just wanted to provide you with as much info as I possibly can.

Nutrition Data According To MyFitnessPal.com
(May not be totally accurate. Data is for entire recipe. Divide by number of servings you use. Left is without erythritol, right is with erythritol. Most low carb folks do not include sugar alcohols in their carb counts, but I thought I’d give you both sets of data in case.):
